Client use-after-free during concurrent export revocation
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 16, 2026
Use-after-free in Linux 7.2 NFSD allows local users to trigger a freed client-memory dereference during concurrent export revocation. nfsd4_revoke_export_states() drops nn->client_lock across revoke_one_stid() and then reads clp->cl_minorversion without a reference that pins the client. Reaching the flaw requires an administrator to remove an export through NFSD_CMD_UNLOCK_EXPORT while client expiry tears down the same client; the published record establishes no crash or code-execution outcome.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
