Kernel memory disclosure via short USB messages

Kernel memory disclosure in affected Linux releases allows physically proximate attackers to read stale data through a crafted USB device. The mdc800 driver allocates its IRQ and download URB buffers without initialization, so short replies leave old kernel bytes in the unread buffer tail. Exploitation requires a crafted MDC800-compatible USB device and local access to data returned through the driver's userspace interface.
