Unbalanced VBUS disable via aggregate regulator state

Improper regulator state tracking in Linux 7.0 allows attackers to cause an unbalanced VBUS disable via Type-C role changes. The hd3ss3220 driver relies on regulator_is_enabled(), which reports aggregate state, then skips its own enable reference and later releases a reference it never acquired.
