Kernel memory leak via unbalanced node reference

A reference leak in Linux kernel 3.5 and affected branches allows attackers to retain kernel memory when I2C mux registration fails. The i2c_mux_add_adapter() error path frees private adapter data without releasing its referenced Device Tree channel node. Reaching the flaw requires the adapter-registration failure path; upstream material identifies no unprivileged trigger or demonstrated service interruption.
