Kernel memory corruption via oversized JPEG frame

Out-of-bounds write in the Linux s2255 USB video driver allows physically proximate attackers to corrupt kernel memory via crafted JPEG frames. s2255_fillbuff copies the header-controlled signed jpg_size into a vb2 plane without rejecting negative values or sizes that exceed the destination. Exploitation requires a malicious Sensoray 2255-family capture device to deliver a malformed JPEG or MJPEG frame, and the bounded consequence is kernel-memory corruption.
