CVE-2026-8984Network attack vector

Unauthenticated root code execution via test endpoint

Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026

Code injection in Autel MaxiCharger AC Single Charger firmware through V1.03.51 allows remote attackers to execute code without authentication. The TCP port 9002 /test handler accepts a URL in JSON, downloads and extracts the referenced archive, then runs its install.sh as root. Network access to that service is the only reported gate, and successful exploitation grants complete root-level control of the charger.
