Out-of-bounds access via wrapped firmware offsets
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 16, 2026
Improper bounds checking in the Linux 6.10 panthor driver allows attackers to cause out-of-bounds kernel memory access via firmware values. panthor_init_cs_iface() and panthor_init_csg_iface() compute firmware-provided stride offsets with wrapping 32-bit arithmetic and validate them using host-wrapper sizes instead of mapped interface sizes. The public record does not establish who can supply those values or whether resulting accesses crash the kernel, disclose data, or alter memory.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
