Contributor-level import control via unchecked AJAX actions
Published Jun 5, 2026 · Updated Jun 5, 2026
Missing authorization in Themeisle Feedzy RSS Feeds 5.1.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter RSS import jobs. Multiple AJAX import sub-handlers validate a nonce but omit capability checks, while block-editor feedzyjs data exposes that nonce to accounts with edit_posts. Contributor-level access permits import creation and execution, permanent deletion of associated posts, log clearing, and taxonomy or post-meta enumeration.
