Improper mount write handling in affected Linux kernels allows attackers to cause unspecified impact via an NFSv2 SETATTR request. Within nfsd_proc_setattr(), the BOTH_TIME_SET branch verifies the file handle early, causing nfsd_setattr() to skip fh_want_write() before notify_change().
