Local denial of service via unthrottled statfs

Denial of service in Linux efivarfs allows local users to degrade x86 system responsiveness by repeatedly calling statfs(). The efivarfs_statfs() handler invokes the EFI QueryVariableInfo() runtime service for every request without rate limiting or cached results. An unprivileged user needs access to the efivarfs mount, and the greatest impact occurs on x86 systems whose firmware variable store uses SMM because each call rendezvouses all CPUs.
