Use-after-free via stale svcrdma listener pointer
Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 11, 2026
Use-after-free in the svcrdma listener in Linux 6.11 allows attackers to interrupt service during an RDMA address-change failure. If replacement-listener allocation fails, svc_rdma_listen_handler leaves sc_cm_id pointing to the cm_id that the CM core destroys. The flaw requires an RDMA listener, an address-change event, and allocation failure; later teardown dereferences the freed object.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
