CVE-2026-89523Hinoki check available

Kernel crash via uncanceled delayed work

Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 11, 2026

Use-after-free in the Linux mt7925 Wi-Fi driver 6.14.3 through 6.15 allows attackers to crash the kernel via teardown or suspension. The mlo_pm_work callback remains queued while reset, suspend, and unregister paths invalidate vif/bss state or remove firmware availability. Reaching the flaw requires MT7925 hardware and one of those lifecycle actions during the delay window, after which the callback dereferences freed state or issues invalid MCU commands.
