Use-after-free via re-queued delayed IRQ work
Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 11, 2026
Use-after-free in the Linux LP8727 power-supply driver allows attackers to cause unspecified impact during device removal. lp8727_release_irq() cancels delayed work before freeing the IRQ, so an intervening IRQ can re-queue work that later dereferences freed pchg state. The race requires the LP8727 driver and an IRQ during removal; public records do not establish attacker control or the resulting consequence.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
