CVE-2026-89455

Use-after-free via premature event IRQ domain removal

Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 11, 2026

Use-after-free in the PLDA PCIe host driver in Linux 6.11 allows attackers to cause unspecified impact during device teardown. plda_pcie_irq_domain_deinit() removes the event IRQ domain before devres runs deferred free_irq() calls for IRQs still mapped to it, so cleanup dereferences freed domain data. Reachability requires a system using the affected PLDA PCIe controller and driver teardown; public evidence establishes no code execution, data exposure, or specific service interruption.
