Unauthenticated stored XSS via unsafe suggestion rendering
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Cozmoslabs TranslatePress 3.3.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts in an administrator's browser. The front-end pipeline decodes entity-encoded input before persistence, exempts the original column from KSES filtering, and renders suggestion.original with v-html. Exploitation requires no account but requires an administrator to view the poisoned translation-memory suggestion, exposing that session to attacker-controlled script actions.
