Unauthenticated administrator creation via unguarded AJAX action
Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026
Privilege escalation in Flipper Code WP Maps Pro before 6.1.1 allows remote attackers to create an administrator via an AJAX request. The wpgmp_temp_access_ajax action accepts a nonce exposed as wpgmp_local.nonce on map pages, unconditionally creates an administrator, and returns a magic-login URL. A public page rendering the plugin shortcode, or the sitewide automatic-fix setting, exposes the nonce needed for interactive administrator access.
