Published Oct 13, 2026 · Updated Oct 13, 2026
Stored XSS in WP Testimonials 1.4.13 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript via testimonial content. The testimonial renderer fails to escape stored content and reverses WordPress's HTML sanitization, allowing embedded scripts to execute when testimonials are displayed. Author-level or higher access is required to store the content; execution occurs in the browser session of a viewer, including an administrator.
