Stored script execution via unsanitized field name
Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 11, 2026
Stored XSS in the CustomizeUser plugin for WWBN AVideo allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in other users' browsers. add.json.php stores field_name without sanitization, and typeToHTML and extraInfo.php interpolate it into HTML labels and placeholders without encoding. Planting requires administrator access; execution occurs when an administrator views extra information or when a user opens an enabled profile form.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
