Spreadsheet formula execution via unsanitized comment export
Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 11, 2026
CSV formula injection in WWBN AVideo through commit c3edcc2 allows remote authenticated users to execute formulas via comment exports. The myComments.download.php endpoint writes comment text beginning with =, +, -, or @ to CSV cells without neutralizing spreadsheet formula prefixes. Execution requires an administrator or video owner to open the downloaded CSV in a spreadsheet, where the formula runs with that viewer's spreadsheet privileges.
