External control of file paths in ASUS Business Manager 3.0.38.0 and earlier allows local users to execute code as SYSTEM via tampered IPC. The Business Manager Service relies on client-side authentication while accepting a file path from an IPC message, allowing low-privileged code to direct a privileged file operation. Exploitation requires local low-privileged code execution and grants arbitrary code execution under the SYSTEM account.
