Authenticated SQL execution via unsanitized Bulk Export names
Published Oct 13, 2026 · Updated Oct 13, 2026
SQL injection in Siemens RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW before 6.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL commands via Bulk Export. The Bulk Export workflow fails to validate or sanitize device group and facility names before database processing. Exploitation requires specific account privileges; the documented consequence is arbitrary SQL execution on the underlying database, not operating-system command execution.
