Path restriction bypass in ASUSTeK Aura Wallpaper Service 2.1.8.0 through 2.1.15.0 allows local users to perform file operations. The service accepts crafted local commands containing attacker-selected paths and performs file operations after its intended path checks are bypassed. Low-privileged local access is required; successful exploitation exposes files handled with the service's authority and, on specific models, can disable one Aura Wallpaper feature.
