Authenticated SQL execution via unsanitized notification values
Published Oct 13, 2026 · Updated Oct 13, 2026
SQL injection in Siemens RUGGEDCOM CROSSBOW allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL via notification conditions. Notification Profile configuration processes the condition's Value field without proper validation or sanitization, allowing supplied input to execute arbitrary SQL commands against the underlying database. Access requires specific configuration privileges; the supplied record establishes database command execution, not operating-system code execution.
