Authenticated transcript disclosure via unchecked attachment ID
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
IDOR in Jordy Meow AI Engine 3.7.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read private audio transcripts via mediaId. The rest_simpleTranscribeAudio handler converts mediaId to a file path with get_attached_file without validating attachment ownership or access. Subscriber-level access is sufficient when Public API is enabled, exposing audio belonging to other users; disabling that module removes the route.
