CVE-2026-89099Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated server crash via unsynchronized document values

Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 11, 2026

Race condition in MongoDB Server 7.0 before 7.0.43, 8.0 before 8.0.32, and 8.3.0 through 8.3.10 allows remote authenticated users to crash mongod. The document value layer permits concurrent server threads to access the same internal memory without synchronization, corrupting process memory with user-influenced content. Ordinary database read-write privileges and access through the normal client protocol are required; successful triggering terminates the server and can corrupt its process memory.
