Administrator script execution via unescaped settings reflection
Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
CSRF in WpMobi 0.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser through a forged request. handleSaveGeneralSettings accepts the request without valid nonce verification, then the General Settings form reflects an unescaped app_name value when validation fails. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to trigger the request; the script runs in that browser session even though the value is not saved.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
