CVE-2026-89089Network attack vector

Database disclosure via unescaped report date format

Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026

SQL injection in affected OpenNMS Meridian and Horizon releases allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary database data. Two shipped Asset Management JasperReports substitute the supplied DATE_FORMAT value literally into SQL when invoked through the reporting REST API. A low-privileged ROLE_USER account and network access to the normally intranet-hosted console are required; exposed data includes stored credentials and SNMP community strings.
