Authentication bypass in Really Simple Security 9.5.10.1 through 9.8.0 allows remote attackers to obtain a user session via a crafted request. An unauthenticated reset path demotes a completed email two-factor enrollment from active to open without preserving the enrolled state. Exploitation requires the target account's password and completed email two-factor enrollment; the resulting session inherits that account's privileges, including Administrator.
