Stored script execution via forged settings request
Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WP-Ultimate-Map 1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts through forged settings requests. The process_init() admin_init handler trusts the save-setting POST flag, writes unsanitized zoom-level data with update_option(), and later emits it without escaping into an HTML attribute and inline JavaScript. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to submit the forged request and then load the settings page, where the stored script executes in that administrator’s browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
