Unauthenticated credential overwrite via unverified Basic headers
Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Insufficient credential protection in All-in-One WP Migration and Backup 7.110 and earlier allows remote attackers to overwrite stored credentials. Ai1wm_Main_Controller::init() accepts Basic Authorization values on unauthenticated admin requests and stores them in ai1wm_auth_header as reversible base64 without verifying login, capability, nonce, or successful authentication. Anonymous requests can replace the option with attacker-chosen data, while legitimate integration credentials can be retained insecurely in the database.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
