Stored script injection via forged settings request
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Osiris Signature Banner 0.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts via forged requests. The settings handler accepts the prepend_text parameter without nonce validation, stores the supplied text, and later renders it as plugin output. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link, after which the persistent script executes for site visitors.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
