Reflected script execution via unescaped page title
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Reflected XSS in WPForms 2.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts in a user's browser through a crafted page title. The {page_title} Smart Tag inserts the POST-supplied title into an administrator-authored confirmation message without sufficient attribute-context escaping. Exploitation requires the Smart Tag inside an HTML attribute and a user induced to submit the crafted request, limiting execution to that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
