Arbitrary file access via unchecked template paths
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Path traversal in Knowns 0 through 0.33.0 allows attackers to read and write arbitrary host files via malicious codegen templates. resolveDest accepts absolute paths and joins traversal segments without checking project-root containment, while loadAndRenderTemplate reads similarly unconstrained source paths. A victim must import attacker-controlled repository content and run its template; exploitation exposes secrets or executes code with the victim's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
