Administrator access via untrusted identity header fallback
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Incorrect authorization in TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM UlakPDF through 09092026 allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator access. Administrative authorization accepts a request-header identity fallback when trusted Shibboleth identity data is absent, allowing the supplied identity to satisfy the administrator allowlist. Exploitation requires access to the protected web service and grants access to administrator statistics functions rather than control over PDF contents.
