Security-control bypass in Mend.io Renovate before 44.3.1 allows attackers to trigger premature digest-update pull requests. The repository worker omits minimumReleaseAge evaluation for updateType=digest and creates a branch or pull request while only marking renovate/stability-days pending. Exposure requires minimumReleaseAge, digest-tracked dependencies, and CI that runs on the resulting pull request, enabling unaged malicious dependency content to reach CI.
