Protected-video disclosure via unchecked source lookup
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Missing authorization in WWBN AVideo allows remote attackers to read password-protected videos through the PlayerSkins endpoint. The plugin/PlayerSkins/seo.php endpoint passes an attacker-supplied video ID to getSources() and returns direct MP4 URLs without validating the configured video password. Exploitation requires an enabled password-protection workflow and a target video ID, and it exposes the protected media bytes without authentication.
