Account lockout via CSRF PGP key replacement
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WWBN AVideo allows remote attackers to replace a logged-in victim's PGP 2FA public key. LoginControl's savePublicKey.json.php accepts a GET-supplied publicKey and stores it for the session user without requiring POST or validating a CSRF token. An affected build through commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 must have LoginControl enabled, and the victim must load an attacker-controlled page while logged in; the change causes lockout or account takeover when the attacker also knows the password.
