Stored XSS via unescaped advertising log label
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in WWBN AVideo through commit c3edcc2 allows remote attackers to run JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The AD_Server log.php endpoint stores the label parameter without escaping, and the Ad Types report later inserts that value with jQuery .html(). Exploitation requires the AD_Server plugin and an administrator to open the affected report; the script then runs with that browser session's privileges.
