Authenticated database compromise via unquoted gallery fields
Published Sep 20, 2026 · Updated Sep 20, 2026
SQL injection in OrdaSoft Joomla Gallery before 6.2.7 allows remote authenticated users with core.manage permission to read and write the database. The saveGallery() path reads hand-parsed form data through Joomla ARRAY and STRING filters, then concatenates category_names[], catOrderIds, and image-ordering values into SQL without quoting or integer casts. Exploitation requires an authenticated account with component-scoped core.manage permission and grants full database read and write access, including password-hash extraction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
