Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Jun 2, 2026 · Updated Jun 2, 2026
Stored XSS in DeMomentSomTres Shortcodes 1.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through callout attributes. The st_callout() function concatenates unescaped width and align values into an HTML style attribute when rendering the shortcode. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the injected script executes in a visitor's browser whenever the affected page is opened.
