Unauthenticated stored XSS via exposed AJAX nonce
Published Sep 13, 2026 · Updated Sep 13, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Hanucodes YouTube Embed 10.0 through 10.3 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in visitors' sessions. The youram_server AJAX action accepts state-changing requests with only a nonce disclosed on every front-end page, then stores data that is rendered without escaping. No authenticated account is required; viewing affected content executes the stored script in the visitor's browser, including an administrator's session.
