Stored script execution via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Team Master 1.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via shortcode attributes. The team-master-public-shortcode.php partial renders attacker-controlled attribute values into page output without sufficient sanitization or contextual escaping. Contributor-level access is required to store a payload, which executes in each visitor's browser when an injected page is opened.
