Arbitrary directory deletion via unchecked worktree path
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Path traversal in OpenCode 1.18.26 allows attackers to recursively delete arbitrary directories through a crafted worktree removal request. Worktree.remove canonicalizes the supplied directory but, when it is absent from Git's worktree list, passes the attacker-selected path to fs.rm with recursive and force enabled. Reachability requires access to the worktree-removal interface, and successful exploitation destroys files accessible to the OpenCode process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
