Remote command execution via unsanitized POST parameter
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Command injection in NUUO Network Video Recorder 2.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute OS commands through a crafted HTTP request. The handler compares POST parameter h with a hardcoded hash and passes POST parameter x directly to PHP's system() function without neutralization. No account is required, although CISA's assessment marks user interaction as required; successful exploitation executes attacker-supplied commands on the recorder.
