Reflected XSS via unsanitized template parameters
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Reflected XSS in kkFileView 5.0.0 through 5.0.2 allows remote attackers to execute browser scripts via /onlinePreview. OnlinePreviewController passes the page and kkagent request parameters into FreeMarker templates, which embed them without sanitization in raw JavaScript contexts. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted preview request; the injected script then runs in the kkFileView origin and can access browser-visible data or actions available to that context.
