Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Oct 5, 2026 · Updated Oct 5, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Zhao-github ApiAdmin 5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through the admin upload endpoint. The POST /admin/Index/upload handler retains the uploaded file's extension without type checks and places the file in the web-accessible public/upload/Ymd/ directory. An administrator account and a server configured to execute uploaded PHP files are required for server-side code execution.
