Process termination via unchecked numeric conversion
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
MuJS e892c9fdb contains an incorrect numeric conversion flaw allowing attackers to terminate processes with crafted JavaScript array indexes. The jsR_isindex() function in jsrun.c converts excessively large floating-point array-index values to integers without range validation, producing undefined behavior. Processing attacker-controlled JavaScript is required, and the documented consequence is process termination causing denial of service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
