CVE-2026-88286Network attack vector

Remote PTZ interruption via blocked accept loop

Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026

Resource exhaustion in GeoVision GV-LPC2211 1.13 allows remote attackers to prevent new PTZ connections through its network service. The PTZ service leaves connection state occupied by an unauthenticated client, blocking its accept loop instead of releasing state for subsequent clients. Network reachability to the PTZ service is sufficient; the documented consequence is loss of new PTZ connections, not camera shutdown or loss of video.
