Root command execution via ONVIF Subscribe address
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
OS command injection in GeoVision GV-LPC2011/LPC2211 1.13 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The ONVIF Subscribe handler passes the attacker-controlled ConsumerReference.Address value to a shell command without neutralizing shell syntax. Valid ONVIF credentials are required; successful exploitation gives full root-level control of the device.
