Root command execution via crafted WPA-PSK
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
OS command injection in GeoVision GV-LPC2211 1.13 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands as root via a crafted WPA-PSK. The wireless configuration path treats shell syntax in the administrator-controlled WPA-PSK as executable input when applying settings. Administrator access and application of the wireless configuration are required, after which injected commands run with full device privileges.
